What’s it about then?

After unearthed I was asked to do some tunes for a sound library CD. The brief was commercial and generic, I could not see it through but I ended up with a fun piss take (and the most commercial tune on this release). The beginning is reminiscent of all those horrible House hits of the late 80’s and early 90’s. Then I just tried to take it over the top. Why have I called it They’re Playing Our Song? Can you imagine the couple that will meet on the dance floor whilst this song is playing and continue down the years to reminisce about the time they met whenever they hear it. “Oh listen George, they’re playing our song”… Well, it’s as good name as any really isn’t it?
