Mix the mesmerizing, bluesy
Hendrix-like guitar licks with the
haunting, surreal sounds of
Pink Floyd, pour in a sizzling
portion of Heart-influenced
vocals, and add an inspirational
dose of ballsy blues rock in the
vein of Bonnie Raitt and Janis
Joplin, and you’:ll get a smoking
hot serving of ‘:RETRO ROCK’:
and 'COOKIN' BLUES', that is

REVIEWS:
'Wow! This music smokes! The
vocals switch off between male
and female leads that fit
together like magic and mystery.
The female vocals will rip your
soul out. Very impressive rock
vocals that scream with passion
and sex appeal. The male lead
has a blues rock depth that kicks
you in the gutt and makes you
beg for more. The music is a
powerful rock groove that bleeds
with passion and fire.
I have to say I was very
impressed by this music. The
heavy blues-rock influence is
very alluring to me. Every song
has an enjoyable quality that is
a template for real rock-n-roll.
I had a good time listening to this
music. For some reason, it made
me want to break out the beer
and call my friends over for a
party! That's the feeling of this
music. Loose and crazy feelings
of a good time. Nothing makes
music better than that.'

'As founder of this website,
I get to listen to a ton of music
(well, some of it is music).
Most of what I get is what I term
"once and done music",meaning
I'm looking for any excuse to
pull the plug on the CD shortly
after it starts playing. ‘:Scenes
From a 100 Acre Wood’:, held
my interest from beginning to
end again and again. When this
band rocks, 'THEY ROCK!',
when they do a ballad, you end
with a lump in your throat! The
combination of male and female
vocals allows the CD to have
plenty of contrast as neither
singer tries to steal the show.
Snakes-n-Angels is no work in
progress.They are one full steam
ahead band that has a real
future.'

'Are you in the mood for some
good old-fashioned rock music?
Snakes-n-Angels would be a
great start. They are an all
around good pop/rock band
with a penchant for the blues.
They have memorable melodies
& catchy hooks, and their style
ranges from the dark, piano-
laden, "Secret Love," to the
down-n-dirty, "Caveman".
If you've got the blues & want to
rock out, get "Scenes From A
100 Acre Wood" and you'll feel
a lot better.'

'Snakes-n-Angels exist as a
manifestation of musical fantasy
meets the blues. There is
nothing like them in their song
approach.They have a parameter
of infinite variable paint colors
to swath over the canvas. The
thunder lights up the sky & we’:ll
have to hyperbole & segue
through the blues to meet
Snakes-n-Angels at the
beginning of the audio
pathway to higher ground.
The spirit & music of
Snakes-n-Angels is eternal.'
