Richey K and the Major Minors are the flagship band of
'fastpolitiks'. Blending 1950's style 12-bar blues
with 80's 90's dance to a harsh and affecting extent,
they are known for raising hairs, eyebrows, and other
bodily areas.
Fronted by Mr. Richardo Khrushchev, a mohair-wearing,
time-travelling disco-sleaze demon, the Major Minors
whack through their 2.5 minute ditties of love, lust,
laughter and their favourite subject of discussion,
dancefloor politics.
Influenced by what they like and liking what they
influence, the Major Minors set the cornerstone for a
brand new genre. We at fastpolitiks are not sure what
to call it, but if you were being literal, you'd call
it 'russko-electro-blues-pop-kitch-rock'. or REBPKR
for short.
