M&S TRACKS MORRISON &SIDOLI
M&S. Ricky Morrison and Fran Sidoli were old
school buddies who lost each other after
leaving school and got back together four years later
to produce music. Since then they have
gone on to work with the likes of Juliet
Roberts, M People and Barbara Tucker. As artists in
their own right they have recorded
under the names of M&S, State Of Mind and,
more recently, Bockster. The M&S are Ricky Morrison
and Fran Sidoli. Their productions of
qualities all were firstly discovered at the
beginning of the Nineties in labels
such as Public Demand and Strictly Rhythm. During two
last years they had many successes with
Michelle Week' S "Don' T Give Up" and on
their own project State Of Mind on the label Sound Of
Ministry. They more recently
recorded two signal 20 in the English charts with
their friend long dates Brandon Block on
the Blockster project with "You Should Be
Dance hall" (n°8) and "Grooveline" (n°18).
Their productions and remix include also Juliet
Roberts, Mr. People and Barbara Tucker as
well as remixes of the title of Ultra Nate
"Free". The broad register of the remix of
M&S their brought notoriety and the deserved
respect and carried them on the list of largest the
English producers. Ricky started as DJ in
1984 in discotheques such as "City Garage" or
"Satellite Club" in England. It confuses in 1991 the
magazin disc "Wrestling A Groove" which
contributed to the introduction in England
of the sound "House" Americain. Currently he
officiates in legendary "Ministry Of Sound"
year England and also in the
"Liquid" in Miami the club where Little Louie Vega and
Masters At Work are resident.
