Avvantaggiato aka Mila is KULT record’s
rising Star. At only 22 years of aga her rich sulty
voice sounds much more mature than what one
would expect from such a young lady and Caucasian
! Coming from a bi-lingual background Mila
studied at an Inglish based School in Rome,
thus her lack of accent. As an avid club goer and
music lover, Mila has absorbed a wide range
of influences from Acid Jazz to Rock and Roll
growing up. Mila pushes her personal envelope as a
songwriter and a performer to achive new
hights and create new styles that blend all
that she became to absorbe. Her first single “Again”
produced by Dj Angel from Rome was remixed
by legendary producer Lenny Fontana. It
quickly became a chart topper in the U.K.
as well as the NYC underground scene. Mila’s
follow up, which she wrote and produced alongside
Italian producers Studio 32
(Vittorio Cafaro and Stefano Guerra) was a crossover
hit on both side of the Atlantic.
Comparison have been made to Lisa Stanfield
with Mila’s style of singing and voice.
Released as a double pack with remixes from
Kult’s find Kevin Yost, Studio 32, Todd Edwards and
with special edits by Danny Buddha Morales
and Benji Candelario, “Show your feelings
inside” is considered by most dj’s a Classic.
Licensed for various hit compilations around the
globe, among which Father’s of
sounds (Rainassance) and selling a very good amount of
double packs, “Show your feelings inside” is
many top dj’s secret weapon to date. Vybe and
melodic, this sultry song has a deep and seductive
groove that keeps them dancing in the
afterhour sets and big room alikes. Mila’s
third release “Keep on giving”, once again
written and produced alongside Studio 32, was another
winner for the Italian born
and raised Mila. Remixed by 95 North and Cricco
Castelli, “Keep on giving” also
showcased a drum and base remix by UK drum and base
wiz Johnatan Moore which helped Mila gain a
wide reputation in a different market.
