Darryl D’Bonneau
D'Bonneau easily accomplishes what few of his
contemporaries can. This Artist blends the
soulful reserve of a traditional R&B crooner with
the primal fervor of an underground belter. Such
skill has served him well during his
time with Jellybean Recordings. He has already scored
a Billboard dance chart hit with "Don't Turn
Your Back On Me," which also displays
Darryl's knack for pulpit-pounding gospel. A boyhood
of singing in church allows him to naturally
infuse his music with a warm spirituality
that enhances the force of a house beat incredibly
well. "I learned at a young age that a
record isn't any good unless give it every ounce
of your passion," he says with pride. "When
I sing, it's like something enters my body
and takes over. It's a transforming
experience."
