Richey K and the Major Minors - Hey Prokofiev, MIDI Slur! [Part 2]
quoted:- Mr. Richardo Khrushchev:
"When I travelled back to aristocratic Russia, I conversed with my good friend Sergei Prokofiev about my latest operatic opus, 'Romeo and Juliet'. So transfixed by such an idea, Sergei waggled my arm to hear this 'potential piece of heaven'. I took him to the Studio Chornaya Retchka and showed him the opus that I was currently creating with Vangelis. So impressed with the polyphony and stomping pomp of the first movement, he travelled back in haste to create an acoustic version with his own orchestra."
"Unfortunately, I forgot the first law of art in time travel, which reads:
== To travel back in time with a futureart is to create a new creator ==
And the law was right. So now it looks like I've just made an electronic equivalent of an early-romantic operatic movement. But that's not true. Ask Vangelis."
True enough, Richey may have been the creator of Prokofiev's 'Romeo and Juliet', but he'll have to make do with being able to use the laws of public domain.
The title of this, a witty retort to the quantum-physical situation, is the first thing the Major Minors recorded in their Chornaya Retchka studio.
