Scott Hoffman DanceMusicAuthorit

Inda Matrix, who has been recording in the past under her birth name Zhana, emerged from a military family traveling throughout Europe. She studied the Arts until her return to the U.S. where she moved to the mecca of dance music, New York City. There she began to participate in many dance shows and theater where she eventually choreograph concerts and shows. She immediately found employment to dance with such artist such as Puff Daddy, PM Dawn, George Clinton, La Toya Jackson, Al B. Sure, Deeelite, Lisa Lisa, Soul System, Jade, Mary J. Blige, Bon Jovi and many other Major Acts. Meanwhile dancing professionally, she also began singing live with such Artists as C&C Music Factory, Taylor Dayne, D'Angelo, Groove Theory, Dave Stewart (Eurythmics fame) just to mention a few. It was while working as a dancer and back up singer with major recording Artist that she found her niche in the underground scene. Zhana attended most of the famous Drag Balls and learned....and witnessed and became part of, ..The fever of the hot club underground house sound which affected her greatly. It was from this activity that came the introduction to various music producers, three of which emerged and helped her put out two of Zhana's first European hits ; "Sanctuary of Love" and "C’mon Boy” in the early 90'. After a string of releases and stellar collaborations with such international producers as Frankie Knuckles Jonathan Peters, Toni Moran, Gomi, Dimitri from Paris and Lenny Fontana, Zhana signed to Groovelicious Records and released a wealth of crossover material including the smash hit "Take my heart" . After a few years of releasing crossover hits with Groovelicious records, Zhana was looking to produce more underground releases to fit the style at her core. In the year 2000 she started looking for a new production team and was introduced to KULT Records and DYNAMIX, who at the time were looking for an aggressive singer to possess their S&M laced power house “Love Dominates”. From the first meeting with DYNAMIX it became clear that Zhana was a perfect candiate to posess ther dominatrix demo DYNAMIX had just written. The result was no less than explosive as she was able to take DYNAMIX original demo to a superior level adding her own creativity with an aggressive performance and a fierce INDA MATRIX freestyled talk-apella, which drove dancefloors across the World into submissions. While the record was available only in 12" format-white label in the U.S., superstar Steve Lowler licensed “No Man Can tame Me” for European release on his Harlem records Imprint based in the UK. Canadian Supertsar Mark Anthony licensed Inda Matrix’s “No Man Can Tame Me” for his debut ALBUM on Nerd Records for Canadian Release as well as contributed his own stellar remix to the Record. A hit on both side of the Atlantic Inda Matrix’s first single was featured on many State side compilations such as David Knapp’s Motorball CD & Brett Heriksen’s masterbeat CD Fusion 3 to mention a few. Austin Downey gave Dynamix and Inda Matrix a 2 page spread on NEXT Magazine where he states ”The boys up and coming single from KULT Records “No Man Can Tame Me” (Love Dominates) (Which unveils their latest vocal discovery Inda Matrix) should hoist Dynamix atop of the charts once again with this edgy sexy S&M groove-Think-The Dominatrix “Sleeps tonight” with a dash of “Independent woman”. Inda Matrix has been rocking major events such as Montreal Gay Pride at Club Stereo -Pride Rituals (Mark Anthony-Pride Rituals-Montreal) the Black Party week end Blackout Party (Junior Vasquez after-hours) (Earth NYC) & Junior Vasquez B-day Event and the Black and Blue’s leather Ball to mention a few. Other events and venue include, The X-Men, One year anniversary party (S. Francisco) Halloween party with Tom of Finland, Parliament House (Orlando, Florida), as well as in such renown Clubs as Avalon (Boston), The Medley(Montreal) Blu (Atlanta) 775 Harrison (S. Already a staple on Junior’s world on KTU on advance play and performed at Junior Vasquez B-day Extravaganza, "Bodyfly" is getting supported by all top crossover dj’s across the country and it won’t fail to make you reach for the sky! Gregory T. Angelo of HX magazine featured a page long review of Inda Matrix and Dynamix forthcoming single and gave HX’s stamp of approval for this yet unreleased Anthem where he quotes Dynamix & states. “We always try not to repeat ourselves”...but try as they may, it looks like Inda Matrix and Dynamix are about to do just that- by scoring yet another hit ”.

FEW IN CLUBLAND CAN TAME THIS REMIX HOUSE HIT MACHINE (NEXT Magazine)

DYNAMIX, a multi Artist act by KULT Records is a concept originated to combine underground production skills with mainstream hooks and melodies for the purpose of Multi-Artist development. By taking underground dance and fusing it with commercial crossover elements, DYNAMIX create music which is both commercially viable, cutting-edge and live performance ready. Upon hitting the dancefloors of New York City with a vengeance in the year 2000, DYNAMIX's first release, "Don't Want Another Man" (E. Cumana, A. Harkins, J.
