Ripping from a CD
Now to rip the music!
- Run the program by going to Start > Programs > Easy CD Ripper > Easy CD Ripper.
- Insert the CD into your CD drive on your PC
- On the right, you will now see a list of tracks on the CD, if your CD contains CD Text then the names will also appear, if not then you will need to enter them at this stage. To do this, Double Click on the track that you want to add a name too, you will see on the left a new window appears, enter the information for this track and hit the Save ID3 button:

- Do this for all of the tracks you wanting to rip.
- Now that’s done we need to select the tracks we are wanting to rip, check the box next to every track you want to rip. As your using the Evaluation version of Easy CD Ripper you can only convert 5 tracks at a time, so select up to 5 tracks, you can always do the rest afterwards.
- Click the Action tab on the left hand pane; you now need to check the ripping options.
- Make sure that Output Types is selected as "MP3" if not, drop the list box down and change it to MP3.
- Now you need to select the Bit Rate of the MP3 (hopefully you have made a decision by now from the information on the Intro to converting MP3's page)
- Drop the Output Options list box down and select your bit rate, it should only be 44100 – xxx – Stereo, where xxx is the bit rate you have chosen (between 128 and 320kbps):

- Once you have done, and checked it through, then hit the Start button, your CD will start to be ripped, this will take a while depending on the amount of tracks you selected and the bit rate you chose – go have a cuppa while you wait.
- Once it’s completed, you can find your tracks on your Hard Drive in a My Music folder.
- And that’s it, your MP3’s can now be uploaded to Stayaround.
